Clifton Village Clerk Description

Clifton Village Clerk is an elected position.  Clerk Macklin D. Berry has been elected to a four year term, which will expire April 30, 2013.
The duties of the Village Clerk include but are not limited to:

1 - The clerk attends all Board meetings and keeps a full journal of the proceedings.
2 - The clerk retains all documents filed in the office: Ordinances, Resolutions, minutes, correspondence, etc.
3 - The clerk is the Local Election Official including absentee voting and registrations.
4 - The clerk is custodian of the municipal seal.
5 - The clerk is required to publish certain material, as needed.
