Village Update Monday, March 17, 2020

Clifton will continue conducting business as usual.

At this time no committee or board meetings are planned in the immediate future; however, if any become necessary, we will explore opportunities to hold those meetings with optional electronic participation and a live-streaming option.

Village Police will be on duty with at least 8 hours of coverage each day for Clifton and Ashkum. Remember, for emergencies, call 911, and for non-emergencies, call the Iroquois County non-emergency number, 815-432-4918, and an on-duty officer will be notified. Village

Police are responsible for enforcing the Governor's Executive Order Number 7 (March 16, 2020) which prohibits on-site consumption of liquor or food through March 30, 2020.

At this time the Village Office will remain open from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., Monday through Friday. Any changes to this will be posted outside the office, communicated via email, and posted to www.cliftonillinois.com. It is our intention to remain responsive and accessible.
