Golf Cart Registration & Inspection
Current golf cart registrations will expire on May 14, 2019. Carts are required to be inspected and registered annually.

Inspection and registration dates at the village office have been scheduled as follows:
Monday, May 6; 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Thursday, May 9; 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Monday, May 13; 5:30 - 7:00 p.m.
The following items are required to operate a golf cart within the village limits:
Lights
Brake Lights
Turn Signals
Slow Moving Vehicle Sign
Red/Orange Flag at least 6 ft high
Rearview Mirror
Proof of CURRENT Insurance
Driver’s License
A registration sticker will NOT be issued if the cart does not have this working equipment.
ALL Illinois Rules of the Road must be obeyed while operating the cart which includes having a valid driver’s license and insurance.
Per the village slow moving vehicle ordinance, "Persons found to be in violation of any provision of this Ordinance shall be subject to the penalties provided for in Section 1-4-1 of the Village Code...". Section 1-4-1 of the Village Code states, "Any person convicted of a violation of any section or provision of this Village Code, where no other penalty is set forth, shall be punished by a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00) for any one offense."
